Auger-Steer - Steering System for Any Pull-Type Auger or Conveyor
This is a new product that drastically improves the manouverability of pull-type augers and conveyors. Not only can Auger-Steer aid in getting your auger into those tight spots or around tight corners, auger-Steer also enables the auger spout to sway left and right to make lining up the bin fill hole easier. There is no need to continuously reposition the auger to get the spout to line up with the bin fill hole. Auger-Steer also makes it easier to find the centre line while backing into a shed. This product is designed to make auger transportation and positioning considerably easier and more efficient.
There are two different types of Auger-Steer kits:
The first type is for augers that have a removeable spindle/wheel hub assembly. The Auger-Steer steering knuckle simply attaches between the spindle/wheel hub assembly and the auger frame. The rest of the hardware attaches to the frame of the auger. This kit includes everything you need to fully install Auger-Steer to your auger or conveyor, including all Auger-Steer parts, hyraulic cylinder, hydraulic safety valve, all hydraulic hoses, and hydraulic couplings to match your tractor.
The second type is for augers that have a permanent welded spindle/wheel hub assembly. The Auger-Steer steering knuckle comes welded to a section of square tubing that gets bolted to the existing auger frame. The rest of the hardware attaches to the frame of the auger. This kit includes everything you need to fully install Auger-Steer to your auger or conveyor, including all Auger-Steer parts, new spindles and wheel hubs to match existing auger tire rims, hyraulic cylinder, hydraulic safety valve, all hydraulic hoses, and hydraulic couplings to match your tractor.
Auger-Steer has been designed and tested keeping operating safety in mind. That's why there is a safety valve included in every Auger-Steer Kit. This valve locks the wheels in the position they are in so that the wheels don't move when the Auger-Steer hydraulic hoses are disconnected from the tractor. This way, the auger or bins don't get damaged and the operator is safe. |
